Corrine gives a talk

Today Corrine gave a talk in Primary. The theme for the month was: My family members have important responsibilities.

"In the Proclamation on the Family it says that parents should teach their children about Jesus and Heavenly Father.
Every morning we all get up and read the scriptures and have family prayer. We just finished reading the story about the 2,00 stripling warriors. The 2,000 stripling warriors knew that Heavenly Father would protect them if they went to battle. They listened to their mothers and were protected in battle.
I don't always like to get up so early to read the scriptures, but I know that when I do what Heavenly Father asks us to do that we are protected."

She proudly showed our Book Of Mormon reading chart and 2,000 stripling warriors picture. She did a great job and spoke loud and clearly despite being nervous to speak in front of all the kids.
