It's Ammon's shoe nearly covered over with VERY sticky mud.
It was so sticky that he pulled his foot out of his shoe trying to get it out, then tried pulling it out with his hands-but had no luck.
Mom had to rescue the shoe-and it was hard for me to pull out.
That mud wasn't giving up without a fight!

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen mud put up that much of a fight. Glad you got the shoe back
