This morning at Stake Conference the Stake President challenged us to read the Book of Mormon before next falls Stake Conference. President Hinkley issued this challenge a year or 2 ago also. We didn't follow through with it then, but we WILL do it this time.
Every morning at 7:00 am we will have family prayer and scripture reading. Each month I am going to update on our progress.
I'm excited to see how our family grows and learns as we take on this challenge.

That's Great! We need to do the same cuz we didn't do it either before!
Back in May, we set a family goal to have the Book of Mormon read by Christmas. I think we're going to make it... but who knows if we'll read it again right away (a la President Jones' challenge) or just say this counts.

Good for you guys! We just finished the BOM with our family and the kids really want to read the New Testament now. I think Ricky and I and Taylor and Abby will read the BOM for our personal scripture reading. That still counts, right?
