Wilson's Apple Orchard

Monday Ammon and I went to Wilson's Orchard with our MOMS Club group. We started by having a picnic lunch. Then we went in for our desert-a fresh baked apple turnover. I wasn't sure if Ammon was going to like the turnover, but when I saw him licking the apple filling off the bottom of the wrapper I knew he had LOVED it!

Then we went for a tractor ride. Mr. Wilson himself took us on it. He is such a nice guy. He would stop at certain places to show us things, for us to pick an apple, or to let us walk on the foot bridge. I was able to get Corrine a real cats tail which she has been wanting for sometime. We were also able to see a turtle in the pond, and little fish in the creek, but didn't get to see any frogs or the famous alligator of Wilson's Orchards creek. For some reason we've missed seeing that alligator every time we go there!

After the tractor ride we went into an area with hay bales and pumpkins.
Ammon discovered that the prices for the pumpkins were written on the bottoms, so he kept rolling them over and telling me how much they cost.

As we were leaving Ammon saw the scarecrow and was very excited that it had on REAL boots, and a farmers old brown hat on!

The weather was just perfect, and we had such a fun afternoon.
