Sliping and sliding

What a better way to spend a hot and humid day in Iowa then on a slip 'n slide. Our backyard has just the right amount of a hill to make it even more fast and fun then just having it on a flat lawn. The grass below the slide turns into part of the slide after a little bit and the fun continues down to the fence.



The kids went down on their belly, knees, backs, feet 1st, head 1st and even tried to surf down it.




Ammon was so cute. He went down and came off the slide onto the grass and said "that shot me like a missile!"


Ammon decided that walking into the house was just too far to go, and he'd miss out on too much fun so the grass became his bathroom. There's a 1st for everything.

After the cool summer we've had it was so nice to have a hot day to play in the water with friends.
