This morning we took Johann out for his 1st trip to Wilson's Apple Orchard. Last year Ammon and I raved about the apple turnovers, so that was the very 1st thing we did. Oh are they delicious!!
When we got to the trees with Honey Crisp apples there were some flies and a few bees which scared Ammon so badly. He was done picking apples as soon as we got to the trees, but Johann and I enjoyed picking them. We found a perfect Rebecca sized apple.
We met up with our friends from MOMS Club to taste some yummy apples. When we left Johann paid for our apples and 3 more yummy turnovers.

Seriously, my heart is aching. I can almost taste the apple turnovers. Eat an extra one for us! Has Johann really never been to the apple orchard? How could that be? Didn't he grow up in Iowa City? We always went at least a couple of times each fall. Glad you were finally able to take him.
Love the picture of Ammon licking his fingers! It sounds so yummy I want one!
